Our Vail Pass bike shuttle is the best way to experience Summit County during the summer months. Whether you are a novice or an advanced bike rider, we have a something for everyone. Choose from one of three bike ride trip options based on your ability and fitness level. Or choose an E-Bike at pick up and ride all the way back to Keystone with ease!

Vail Pass Bike Shuttle departs daily at 9am & 11am

• When you book online you'll book the fare only to save your desired departure time.
• We stock plenty of bikes to choose from when you arrive prior to your trip departure, we'll help you choose the perfect bike. 
• All trips require a certain amount of bike riding skills. Each rider must be able to exhibit a minimum level of proper use of brakes and turning ability.
• You must arrive a minimum of 45 minutes prior to departure. You will test ride bikes before departing store to make sure everyone is comfortable. We will go over a map with you in good detail and show you the pickup locations and the planned pickup times.
• It is about a 4 hour rental period from departure time to pick up time. We close at 5pm during the summer months.

Additional Trip Information

TRIP 1 (Coasting)

The 12 mile coasting bike trip on paved trail from the top of Vail Pass through Copper Mountain Resort ending in the town of Frisco. This trip is perfect for families and folks that just want spectacular views and not much pedaling. Most participants in this trip will stop at Copper Mountain and take a scenic chairlift ride, play miniature golf, scale the rock climbing wall, ride go-carts, visit shops in the village, have a picnic, or have lunch at a local café. When finished at Copper the riders travel down to Frisco through the incredible Ten Mile Canyon on paved trail. Along this stretch of the trail the rider can stop and sit by one of the many beautiful mountain lakes, lounge by the stream, or visit an old mine. Once in Frisco you can also shop and dine. It is up to you.

Distance – 12 miles mostly coasting.

Time – Ride time 1 hour 10 minutes on average. Most riders plan on 4 hours to do other activities along the way. During peak times we plan your pick up time, giving you about 4 hours of ride time.

TRIP 2 (Coasting plus moderate pedaling)

This trip includes all portions from TRIP 1 plus an extra 7 miles of easy/moderate pedaling through the Town of Frisco to the Town of Dillon. This trip enables the rider to explore the Historic Town of Frisco and its many shops and eateries. Plus the rider enjoys the beautiful portions of the bike path that meander along the shores of beautiful Lake Dillon. The portion of paved trail from Frisco to Dillon is a wonderful ride and requires pedaling. If you bike occasionally this is a great trip. Finish in Dillon and drop by the Tiki Bar, lakeside at the Dillon Marina, for a snack or cold drink.

Distance – 12 miles mostly coasting plus 7 miles of pedaling

Time – Ride time 2 hours 15 minutes on average. Most riders plan on 4 hours to do other activities along the way. More ride time less playtime. During peak times we plan your pick up time, giving you about 4 hours of ride time.

TRIP 3 (Coasting plus moderate to Advanced pedaling)

This trip includes all portions of Trips 1 and 2 plus an extra 6 miles of low grade paved trail climbing from the Town of Dillon along the east shores of lake Dillon, ending with a wooded accent by the Snake River into the Keystone Village and beyond to Mountain View Sports in Keystone. This trip is geared for riders that want a bit of a work out and longer time on the bike. The section of paved trail from Dillon to Keystone is gorgeous. Once riders enter the woods along the Snake River most think the climbs are well worth it.

Distance – 12 miles mostly coasting plus 13 miles of pedaling

Time – Ride time 3 hours 30 minutes on average. Most riders plan on 4 hours to do other activities along the way. More ride time less playtime.
