One junior ski rental at no charge for every adult who rents a Performance or Demo ski package. We'd rather grow the next generation of skiers than squeeze another forty dollars out of your family holiday.

Getting a first-timer on snow at Keystone
Keystone is one of the better mountains in Colorado for a child's first day. The Schoolmarm green runs from the summit all the way to the base, which means a beginner gets a real top-to-bottom descent on day one rather than laps of a bunny hill.
Two practical notes from twenty years of fitting kids' boots. First, bring the socks they'll actually ski in — one thin pair, not two thick ones. Second, plan for the altitude: a nine-year-old at 9,400 feet gets tired and cranky faster than the same child at home, and a half day often produces a better skier than a full one.
Helmets aren't included in the free rental and we strongly recommend one — $12.50 a day.
